Strategic Thinking and Planning Course

Strategic thinking and planning skills are the cornerstone of organizational success, as they enable organizations to clearly define their goals, develop effective plans to achieve them, continuously assess their progress, and ensure the sustainability of their impact in the long term.

During the Strategic Thinking and Planning Course, held from May 26 to 30, 2024, participants gained essential skills to understand the concept of strategic thinking and planning, analyze the organization's internal and external environment, formulate a clear vision, mission, and specific objectives, develop comprehensive strategic plans, identify key performance indicators, and use various tools and methods to monitor and evaluate plans, as well as manage risks and challenges.

The course was conducted as part of the project to empower non-governmental organizations to reduce poverty in Yemen (Solidarity), implemented by the Al-Awn Foundation for Development in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development.
